Today, you will be creating a presentation on FLIPGRID about your data analysis from Last Wednesday.

Before that, we want to prepare and know what to say.

Use the attached storyboard to plan your Flipgrid presentation.

Your coordinator should make a copy and share it with the team. Everyone will submit!

1. You can either work alone or find a partner to work with (groups of 1, 2 or 3 are fine). Please stick with students who have the same math teacher as you.

2. Choose your topic. Do you want to answer question 1 ("Is social distancing working?") or question 2 ("Do 6th graders have adequate Wifi?").

3. Complete the Google Doc and submit. (If you are in a group, everyone should be submitting it. Share or make a copy of the same assignment and submit it.) If in a group- have 1 person be the coordinator, if you are working alone, you are the coordinator.

Analyze the data you have chosen. Working by hand or with digital tools, you must:
1. Find measures of center (mean or median)
2. Calculate measures of spread (range, MAD and/or IQR)
3. Create a graph.
4. Summarize your investigation using "Say-Show-So."

All of your responses must be entered into the Google Doc and submitted by your coordinator.

This assignment includes links to videos that will help you. View the videos as needed. Note: The videos only show you the process with sample data. You need to do everything with the REAL data -- all 52 responses.

Hi class hopefully everyone had a great weekend! I'm thinking of having an online tutoring session through zoom or google hangouts where you would login at a certain time and for about a hour we can go over the classwork / homework/ and ask any questions you may have, kind of like how we do afterschool tutoring but online.
