7th Grade ELA (Period 1) Assignments

M.A.D.O.M.S. test on Wednesday.  Please review I.N. pages 119, 120, and 121 for the test.  I've also posted a PDF version of the play in Google Classroom in case you were absent or need to refresh your memory about all of the plot elements.  

1.  Make sure research on The Cold War is completed on pages 116 of I.N.

Practice your presentation speech!  You should sound like an expert who is well-versed in your group's need, community, solution, and implementation towards the solution.  

I've uploaded the speech outline to G.C. You can make a copy, fill in the parts that pertain to your group specifically, and then use that to practice until it sounds like you're an expert.  The end goal is for you to be able to communicate this information to the audience without visual aids (not using the chromebooks, your tri-fold, or papers/index cards.

I will be collecting Interactive NB's on Thursday, 9/15.  Please make sure you have pages 12 and 14 done to the best of your ability.  You have glued directions to both of these pages at the top of each one.  Follow directions carefully and put forth your best effort!  Think GROWTH MINDSET.
