The robot they built was required to lift cubes and yellow "skyrise" pieces onto scoring areas. The team has been meeting since October to design and build their machine, which features a chain-linked drive mechanism and a forklift-style arm. They work after school, on weekends and during their Project Lead the Way class. Their next competition will be Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015.
