I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching Physical Education at STEAM Academy @Burke. I also coach football at El Rancho High School and help to organize a weight lifting program for the soccer program. In 2017 I earned my teaching credential for PE and a Master's Degree in Education from National University. Prior to my teaching experience at STEAM Academy, I helped to implement the first Elementary PE program in El Rancho Unified School District at a Birney, Rivera, and Rio Vista. Additionally, I have partnered up with a local athletic trainer to develop and implement speed/strength training for some local sports teams. Currently, at STEAM Academy, I manage a running club that meets during the Fall Semester on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays @7AM.
