during the last decade public schools have dress makeup programs and classes that expose students to a well-rounded educational experience in a recent statement by the American Federation of teachers it was add that we need to get back to working with the whole child teaching our kids how to work collaboratively how to be resilient and how to think critically focus on math and language arts is important our public schools have been neglecting the Curiosity and passions that students have as humans it is our nature I want to create to experience and to discover Studies have shown that students were exposed to a broad range of learning experiences in which they both sides of their brain actually perform better academically and are more well-adjusted socially  research has also shown that soon supposed to be steam education or more confident creative and better equipped to thrive in the 21st century steam program reflects a nationwide push to develop the next generation of innovators and by injecting the Arts into science math engineer when technology we encourage students to think creatively and critically in all subjects the Arts also encourage students to take risks and a multiple perspectives  this is why at the steam Academy we pride ourselves in providing opportunities for our students to discover their passion explore their imagination and develop their critical thinking skills our mission at the steam Academy is to provide an educational experience spin spires critical thinkers who are responsible resilient creative and uniquely prepared to thrive in the 21st century
