What is AVID? Advancement Via Individual Determination

AVID's goal is to provide students with the essential skills needed to be successful in their core classes and to promote an awareness of the importance of higher education, as well as helping the students transition to high school. As an academic support elective, AVID seeks to prepare students for college eligibility and empowers them to strive for academic excellence. In the AVID class, students work on various skills required for academic sucess.
