STEAM Students Visit JPL/NASA
Students from the STEAM Academy accelerated math and Project Lead the Way classes visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory near Pasadena on Jan. 22, 2015. They were exposed to various space vehicles including the Mars Rover, Galileo, Explorer, and visited areas where equipment for future missions is being assembled. The visit connected to the planetary science, engineering design process, and mathematics that students had been working on in their classes. Please click on this news story to see more photos.
