Thanksgiving Holiday

Dia de los Muertos Festival Nov 1st @ 4:30; Dodger game will be live Streamed on projector!

Come join us for a night of family, culture, art, memories, music, and food. There will be food trucks, our very own Mariachi Jaguares, Folklorico and Aztec Dancers, Art Vendors and displays, face painting and crafts, ofrenda displays, a photo booth, and more! Please come out and celebrate with us! The event begins at 4:30pm. And as the headline states, we will have the World Series Game 7 on the big screen!!

Parent/Student-Led Conferences

Parent/Student-Led Conferences will be held Wednesday, 10/24. The letter pictured was sent home with your child. Please be sure to read your child's copy of the letter and fill in the class schedule portion, along with the grade from the most recent progress report as that will most likely guide you for which teachers to visit.

Halloween Costumes

Jaguars, Halloween activities at STEAM Academy will take place on Friday, 10/27 ONLY. Students will be allowed to wear costumes on 10/27 ONLY. As a reminder, the school dress code does apply. Costumes should be appropriate for the season. In years past we have noticed costumes to be excessively revealing and inappropriate for the environment and/or age. Community Nature Connection – Transit to Trail, trip of Leo Carrillo State Beach (9/30, 9 AM – 5 PM)

Asm. Cristina Garcia and Community Nature Connections are partnering to hold a free educational bus trip and tour to the Leo Carrillo State Beach. The bus will pick-up all participants from Ford Park in Bell Gardens on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 9 AM and take a roundtrip to the beach and return by 5 PM. Snacks, water, and lunch will be provided. Asm. Garcia would love for her community to interact with nature and enjoy the wonders of California, while learning about its benefits.
