Jaguars, Halloween activities at STEAM Academy will take place on Friday, 10/29 ONLY. Students will be allowed to wear costumes on 10/29 ONLY. As a reminder, the school dress code does apply. Costumes should be appropriate for the season. In years past we have noticed costumes to be excessively revealing and inappropriate for the environment and/or age. Please read the attached letter regarding the upcoming SEL lessons we will be delivering to our students in the coming weeks using the Second Step curriculum. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office or email the principal at [email protected].

We will be holding our first School Site Council Meeting of the year on Thursday, 10/7/2021 at 4pm via Zoom. The schedule can be found on our website under the "Parents" tab, then "School Site Council." We will be conducting training and electing a Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. While only SSC members can vote, all are welcome to attend. Meeting info can be found on the STEAM Activities calendar and the link is included in the title.

In an effort to promote the health and well being of students at STEAM Academy @ Burke, students will be periodically provided with questionnaires, surveys, and screeners that address issues related to mental health and well-being. The information gained will support the district’s ability to provide comprehensive and timely support for your child if they require any assistance. Students and parents/guardians may opt-out of filling out any questionnaire, survey, or screener that they are not interested in taking by filling out the following form:
